Our Procedures For Individual Lawyer Searches

We treat all information from our clients with the greatest confidentiality. In every case, we use our systemized techniques to meet each client´s unique requirements.

We perform the following services:

• In the case of law firms, we meet with some of the client´s key partners to learn about the firm´s culture, style and operation. In the case of corporate clients, we hold similar meetings, which include interviews with the chief executive officer and other key management leaders.
• From the law firms, we obtain copies of the firm´s resume, brochures, and other documents describing the client´s firm to learn how it describes itself. From corporations, we obtain copies of the company´s 10-K, annual report, proxy statement, personnel profiles and other documents describing the products, operations, growth and goals of the corporation and its legal department.
• Develop a profile of the position to be filled and of the ideal candidate. This detailed position description is submitted for client approval.
• Compile a target candidate portfolio based upon our extensive nationwide contacts with lawyers, and our experience as search consultants.
• Conduct extensive interviews, usually in person, with potential candidates.
• Present for client consideration those lawyers who fit the client´s criteria. We present detailed written profile for each of the most qualified candidates.
• Check the references of the selected candidate, assist in negotiating the compensation package, and counsel with client and candidate to assure a smooth transition.
